Acceptance

By creating an account or using Arsclepius, you agree to these Terms & Policies. If you don’t agree, don’t use the platform.

What Arsclepius is

Arsclepius is a skills-first platform for practice, learning, events, and education. Some features are free. Some are paid.

Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to have an account. We ask for your date of birth when you create an account with email, or in Settings if you signed up another way; giving a false one is grounds for removal.
• You’re responsible for your account activity and keeping your login secure.
• Provide accurate info when required (especially for payouts/safety flows).
• No impersonation or misleading identity that harms or deceives.

Age & 18+ content

• Every account starts the same: content and features marked 18+ are hidden from it.
• The 18+ tier opens only after you verify your age with an ID check. We only ask for it at the moment you try to use an 18+ feature, never at signup.
• Verification is also required before you can publish 18+ content or use partner seeking.
• An account with a stated age under 18 cannot open the 18+ tier, and no verification will be offered to it.

Email from us

There are two kinds, and we keep them apart on purpose.

• Service emailis about the account you created: receipts, tickets, password resets, safety notices, and occasional notes about meaningful changes to the platform. If you have an account, you get these. You can switch them off in Settings → Notifications, except for the few we cannot skip — a receipt for money you spent, or a safety notice.
• Marketing email is the newsletter, product news, event announcements and course news. You only get these if you asked for them, the exact sentence you agreed to is stored with the date you agreed to it, and every message unsubscribes in one click without logging in.

We measure marketing email — whether it was opened, and which links were clicked — so we can tell what is worth sending. That is stated in the sentence you agree to when you subscribe. Service email is not measured this way.

Paid features, creators, and responsibility

• Pricing/fees are shown at checkout.
• Creators/hosts are responsible for their offerings (content accuracy, venue rules, safety practices, compliance with law).
• Arsclepius does not supervise user activity and cannot guarantee outcomes.

Enforcement

• To protect the community, we may remove/restrict content, limit features, or suspend/terminate accounts.
• We may act with or without notice when safety is at risk.

Leaving

You can pause your account for a set period, or close it permanently, from Settings → Account. Pausing hides your profile and keeps everything. Closing anonymises your profile, clears your memberships, and cannot be undone.

Changes

We’ll update these as the platform grows. Material changes will be announced by service email to account holders.
